The Case Study
The current series of blog articles derives from my life-changing 1995 investigation into what at the time had been described as a contemporary 'talking poltergeist' case in Oklahoma. I eventually decided to candidly relate in a documentary style what had occurred during the expedition by presenting interview transcripts, journals and photographs in a nonfiction book, Testament. As somebody who has long been an avid reader of paranormal case studies, such a format constituted the type of unadulterated chronicle that I would have found preferable as a prospective reader.
After investigating the bizarre and complicated haunting in Oklahoma centering on the predominant manifesting entity known as 'Michael' and returning home to my condo in the Echo Park neighborhood of my native Los Angeles, the phenomena didn't cease as expected and soon even escalated in scope. I found myself trying to better understand the strange symbols, synchronicities, occasional visionary occurrences and other phenomena that were happening.
My decision to continue interviewing people in Southern California required a new approach to daily living. Although I'd previously considered myself as being somewhat introverted, I began spontaneously and continuously expressing myself verbally with a tape recorder as a means of keeping a record of my experiences.
In retrospect, it seems necessary and hardly surprising that the print version of my 1,094-page book Testament garnered scant media attention upon publication in 1997. The status quo and superstition are highly profitable commodities throughout the mass media, impacting the reporting of news encompassing metaphysical topics; and influencing storylines of movies, TV shows and novels. The lack of interest in my work enabled me to devote myself to continuing my metaphysical research without many distractions. I wanted to more fully understand the topics involving me. Something I've learned is that the annals of transcendental communication help one to place Earth life in perspective. Authentic communicators from the ascended realm have consistently brought the message that in the next world there are no secrets.
Other people might be living a daily existence without being aware that the spiritual awareness of others may be based on experiences quite different to what are considered commonplace. Starting with the verbatim Centrahoma interview transcripts and audio journals that comprise the beginning portion of Testament, a chronological account of the unexpected series of events that occurred in my life is offered, simultaneously showing how the published case study developed.
Similar to myself, my collaborators in Oklahoma have described experiences that are unprecedented in some ways. Considering the questions arising from the first Bell Family poltergeist haunting still widely known as the 'Bell Witch' case, it became essential to let everything divulged in the interviews become known in Testament without redaction.
